The bill would amend the Insurance Code to require the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) to publish online certain rate information concerning residential property insurance. The bill authorizes TDI to pass rules regarding the implementation of the bill. TDI indicates that any costs incurred from the implementation of this bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
