O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1245 by Brown, Betty (Relating to the rates charged by a water and sewer utility.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would allow the Commission on Environmental Quality's executive director to establish interim rates for appeals filed with the agency. Under current law, interim rates can be requested upon the executive director's or an appellant's motion to the Commission. The bill would remove that provision.  The bill's passage is not expected to result in any significant fiscal impact to the state. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
