The bill amends Subchapter I, Chapter 21, Education Code by adding Section 21.4031 to require that school districts provide a copy of a requested service record of a previously employed classroom teacher, librarian, counselor, or nurse within 30 days of the request from the school district employing the individual. Local Government Impact If districts are not already providing the required service record information within the 30-day period specified by the bill, some additional cost may be incurred to prepare and provide the service record within the specified time period.
