O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1372 by Shelton (Relating to the definition of victim in relation to certain crime victims' rights.), As Engrossed    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the definition of "victim" as it relates to the rights of crime victims to include a person who is the victim of the offense of trafficking of persons. It is anticipated that the various agencies that are responsible for providing services to crime victims under the Crime Victims' Bill of Rights could absorb within existing resources any additional workload costs that may result from implementing provisions of the bill.
