O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB140 by Gonzalez Toureilles (Relating to the use or display under certain circumstances of an expired license to carry a concealed handgun.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend Section 46.15(b) of the Penal Code and Section 411.205(a) of the Government Code to permit the use or display of an expired license to carry a concealed handgun under certain circumstances.  The Department of Public Safety indicates that any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within its current resources.
