(Relating to certain exceptions to the prohibition on hunting from a public road or right-of-way.), As Introduced No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. This bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code to allow for the capture, trapping, or hunting of a reptile, amphibian or insect from a public road or right-of-way. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department anticipates any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within the department's existing resources. The bill would take effect immediately with two-thirds vote of the members of the House and Senate. Otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2009. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
