O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1505 by Ortiz, Jr. (Relating to ownership of a license or permit authorizing the sale of alcoholic beverages at a facility owned by a municipality or county.), As Introduced    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code by adding Section 109.5305 to exempt facilities owned by a municipality or county from certain provisions and any rules adopted by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) prohibiting subterfuge ownership of a license or permit or the premises covered by a license or permit.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2009.   TABC states the bill would have no fiscal impact to the agency.
