A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to a requirement that a recipient of money from the Texas
Enterprise Fund provide a health benefit plan for its employees.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 481.078, Government Code, is amended by
adding Subsection (g-1) to read as follows:
(g-1) The grant agreement shall include a provision
requiring that the grant recipient provide a health benefit plan to
its employees used in any activity or project financed by the grant.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
