O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1727 by Smith, Wayne (Relating to the transport of fireworks within a municipality.), As Introduced    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would prohibit a municipality from prohibiting the transport of fireworks in unopened and original packaging in a motor vehicle within municipal limits. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. If a municipality currently has an ordinance in place that prohibits the transport of fireworks as described in the bill, there would be some administrative costs involved in removing the ordinance.
