O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board IN RE:HB1799 by Bohac (Relating to information that must be included on certain electric bills.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would require retail electric providers to include on a residential customer's bill a statement directing the customer to the Public Utility Commission's (PUC) Power-to-Choose website. The bill would require the PUC to adopt rules to implement these provisions. The provisions of the bill would expire on September 1, 2011. The PUC anticipates any additional work resulting from the passage of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
