Rose, Chair, House Committee on Human Services      FROM: John S. O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1905 by Guillen (Relating to studying the costs and benefits of a pilot program for services for adults with autism and other related disabilities with similar support needs.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would require the Health and Human Services Commission to conduct a study to determine the costs and benefits to the state of initiating a pilot program to provide services to adults with autism and other related disabilities with similar support needs. A report would be required to be submitted no later than September 1, 2010.  The agency indicates any cost to implement provisions of the bill would be minimal and can be absorbed within available resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
