O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1944 by Giddings (Relating to actions required to be taken by the Texas Education Agency and a school district when the district fails to file its annual audit report in a timely manner.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The Texas Education Agency would be directed to provide a written notification to a school district that fails to file an annual audit report in a timely manner.   Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.   School districts receiving notice of failure to file an annual audit report in a timely manner would be required to take steps outlined in the bill to provide public notice of the situation.
