Smithee, Chair, House Committee on Insurance      FROM: John S. O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2015 by Smithee (Relating to exclusions of certain persons from coverage under a motor vehicle insurance policy used as evidence of financial responsibility.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Insurance Code to allow a motor vehicle insurance policy holder to exclude certain persons from coverage of that policy. Based on analysis by the Texas Department of Insurance, any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill can be absorbed within existing resources.
