The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code relating to the execution docket of certain court clerks. The bill would provide that a court clerk may maintain an "execution docket" in an electronic format, although the court clerk is not required to do so. To the extent the bill would modify court procedures, no affect on judicial workloads or fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would take effect September 1, 2009.
