O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2260 by Truitt (Relating to adoption of the Uniform Adult Guardianship and Protective Proceedings Jurisdiction Act.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill adopts the Uniform Adult Guardianship and Protective Proceedings Jurisdiction Act.  It provides the exclusive jurisdictional basis for a Texas court to appoint a guardian for an adult and addresses determination of jurisdiction as between Texas courts and the courts of other states. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
