The bill would amend the Business and Commerce Code and require computer technicians to immediately report to local or state law enforcement agencies or the Cyber Tipline whenever they discover images of child pornography on computers they are working on. It is assumed that any additional costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.
