The bill would amend the Local Government Code to authorize in those municipalities where Chapter 142 has been adopted (Benefits and Working Conditions for Police Officers and Firefighters) two ways in which member donations to the business leave time account of an employee organization may be authorized. The bill would also stipulate how a municipality would be required to administer the account and to transfer donated time. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
