The bill would amend the Government Code relating to the administration of programs by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA). The agency could incur costs to the extent it would choose to fund a portion of the initiative if local entities do not do so. Based on the analysis of TDHCA, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
