To the extent the bill would increase the generation of state-fundable contact hours at certain community college districts, and to the extent future Legislatures opt to fund those additional contact hours, there may be an undetermined increase in cost to the state. Local Government Impact To the extent this bill would increase the generation of state-fundable contact hours at certain community college districts, this bill may result in a larger share of future appropriations of formula funding for affected community college districts.
