O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2483 by Pickett (Relating to the repeal of the authority for the establishment and administration of the Border Health Institute in the city of El Paso.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The provisions of the bill repeal the authority for the establishment and administration of the Border Health Institute in the City of El Paso. The Higher Education Coordinating Board assumes that the bill reflects the Institutes success in fulfilling its original purpose and that its coordinating role is no longer needed. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
