O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2501 by Leibowitz (Relating to the creation of the Scenic Loop--Boerne Stage Road Driving Trail.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend Chapter 442 of the Government Code to require the Historical Commission to create the Scenic Loop - Boerne Stage Road Driving Trail as a scenic driving trail in Bexar and Kendall counties. The Commission would promote the trail in materials and brochures for the Texas Heritage Trails program. The Texas Department of Transportation would be required to erect markers identifying the scenic route in various locations of the driving trail. It is anticipated that costs associated with implementation of the bill would not require additional resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2009. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
