O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2574 by Gonzalez Toureilles (Relating to eligibility to be a candidate for, or elected or appointed to, a public elective office in this state.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Election Code prohibiting a person from being eligible as a candidate for an elected or appointed public elective office if the person has been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor offense relating to sexual or assaultive offenses.
