O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2591 by Thompson (Relating to certain prohibited acts by registered property tax consultants.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would prohibit certain general and legal actions by property tax consultants. The bill would require the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to adopt rules to align existing rules with the provisions of the bill. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation indicates that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
