The bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code relating to the requirement to keep records of game bird or animal carcasses placed in a cold storage or processing facility. The bill would redefine the anatomical parameters of "quartering" an animal; as well as changing when records are required, for a game bird or animal carcass placed in a cold storage or processing facility, effective September 1, 2009. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department indicates there is no fiscal implication to implementing the provisions of the bill.
