The bill would amend the Government Code relating to the provision of financial assistance by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs to support local services for homeless individuals and families. Based on the analysis of the agency, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
