O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2697 by Gutierrez (Relating to the licensing and regulation of plumbers.), As Engrossed    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the licensing and regulation of plumbers including requiring certain licensees to operate under the supervision of a responsible master plumber.  The bill would require the Board of Plumbing Examiners to issue orders to enforce the provisions of the bill.  Based on analysis provided by the agency, any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
