O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2738 by Alonzo (Relating to the pledge of certain revenue of a regional transportation authority to the payment of bonds.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Transportation Code as it pertains to certain regional transportation authorities related to securing payment of bonds and the use of revenue in excess of amounts pledged. Provisions of the bill would apply only to the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority and to the Fort Worth Transportation Authority. Local Government Impact Because the bill would not have statewide impact on units of local government of the same type or class, no comment from this office is required by the rules of the House/Senate as to its probable fiscal implication on units of local government.
