O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2767 by Anderson (Relating to the issuance of specialty license plates for justices of the peace.), Committee Report 1st House, As Amended    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to issue specialty license plates for Municipal Judges and Justices of the Peace. Based on the analysis of TxDOT, it is assumed the provisions of the bill would not result in a significant impact to State Highway Fund revenue and any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
