The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code relating to the liability of an ambulance service provider. An ambulance service provider that is involved in a motor vehicle accident while providing services would be liable for the total amount of economic damages or $250,000. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
