O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2948 by Miller, Doug (Relating to the regulation of off-premises signs in the unincorporated area of a county.), As Introduced    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would revise the Local Government Code to authorize a county commissioners court by order to prohibit the erection of off-premises signs along roads in the unincorporated area of the county. The commissioners would be required to first hold a public hearing on the proposed order. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
