The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code, the Government Code, the Family Code, and the Local Government Code relating to certain duties, functions, and procedures of county clerks, district clerks, and local registrars. Local Government Impact Based on information provided by a variety of court clerks and by the County and District Clerks Association of Texas, it is assumed that there would be no significant fiscal implications to units of local government.
