The bill would amend the Election Code requiring the governing body of a political subdivision, other than a county, that orders an election to deliver a notice to the voter registrar, in addition to the county clerk. The bill would take effect September 1, 2009. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
