The bill would require the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to develop and provide to each foster parent and licensed child-placing agency a statement that lists the rights and responsibilities of a foster parent in a foster home or an agency foster home and of DFPS or a child-placing agency. It is assumed that the related costs would not be significant and could be absorbed by the agency within existing resources.
