O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB3137 by Gallego (Relating to requiring the Department of Family and Protective Services to develop and provide certain foster parents with a statement regarding the rights and responsibilities of those persons and the agency.), As Engrossed    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would require the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to develop and provide to each foster parent and licensed child-placing agency a statement that lists the rights and responsibilities of a foster parent in a foster home or an agency foster home and of DFPS or a child-placing agency.  It is assumed that the related costs would not be significant and could be absorbed by the agency within existing resources.
