Under provisions of the bill, the Board of Regents of the Texas A&M University System would be allowed to convey 221.64 acres of land, excluding mineral rights, in Cherokee County previously conveyed to the Texas Forest Service in 1963 and under the control of the Board of Regents of the Texas A&M University System.
