The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code by adding Section 102.071 to allow holders of a wholesalers permit to sell certain types of glassware to retail-level permittees and provide guidelines for such sales. The bill would also indicate certain types of glassware sold by holders of certain permits or licenses would be subject to certain provisions of the Alcoholic Beverage Code. The bill would take effect September 1, 2009. The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission states the provisions in the bill would have no significant fiscal impact to their agency.
