O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board IN RE:HB3450 by Legler (Relating to a temporary faculty license for chiropractic faculty.), As Engrossed No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would authorize the Board of Chiropractic Examiners to issue a faculty temporary license to practice chiropractic to a person who holds a current chiropractic license that is unrestricted and not subject to a disciplinary order or probation in another state or a Canadian province, who passes the required examination, and who holds a salaried faculty position of at least the level of assistant professor at one of the two Chiropractic Colleges in the state of Texas. The Board of Chiropractic Examiners would be required to adopt rules to implement the provisions of the bill and to issue the faculty temporary license to eligible applicants. The Board of Chiropractic Examiners indicates it could absorb the costs associated with the bill within its current resources.
