The bill would amend the Property Code to authorize the county clerk in certain counties, before accepting an instrument conveying real property, to send the instrument to the county attorney to review. The bill would stipulate a county attorney's responsibilities if asked to review an instrument. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
