The bill would amend the Transportation Code to authorize a disabled veteran who qualifies for a disabled veterans license plate to obtain a standard issue license plate at the same cost as a disabled veterans license plate. Based on the analysis of the Texas Department of Transportation, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
