O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB3671 by Sheffield (Relating to the documents that are required for the transfer of a defendant from a county to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.), As Engrossed    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to remove the requirement to include a copy of the record of arrest for each offense in the documents that must be provided when transferring a defendant from a county to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Local Government Impact Counties would experience a slight savings in administrative costs associated with the current requirement to include copies of arrest records.
