O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board IN RE:HB3829 by Thompson (Relating to the per diem for members of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission.), As Engrossed No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code, Section 5.08 to indicate the per diem expenses for members of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) would be as provided by the General Appropriations Act. The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a two-thirds vote of all the members in each house, otherwise it would take effect on September 1, 2009. TABC anticipates no significant fiscal impact to their agency. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
