O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB3956 by Turner, Chris (Relating to use of sales and tax revenues by certain development corporations to promote higher education and job training opportunities.), As Introduced    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Local Government Code to authorize a Type A corporation to contract with a nonprofit corporation to administer an education and job training project or to assist with the administration of the project. The authorizing municipality would be authorized to designate not more than one-eighth of the tax revenue that the municipality is entitled to receive from any sales and use tax adopted under Chapter 504, Local Government Code.
