A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the waiver of state park entrance fees for active
members of the Texas State Guard.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 13, Parks and Wildlife
Code, is amended by adding Section 13.0185 to read as follows:
Sec. 13.0185. PARK FEE WAIVER FOR MEMBERS OF THE TEXAS STATE
GUARD. The department shall waive the state park entrance fee and
vehicle entrance fee for any person who is an active member of the
Texas State Guard on presentation of the person's Texas State Guard
identification card.
SECTION 2. This Act take effect September 1, 2009.
