Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.   The bill would amend the Water Code to exempt the notification to purchasers of real property located within the corporate limits of a municipality that is served by a municipally owned utility that the property may be located in a certificated water or sewer service area, and therefore subject to certain costs or charges that must be paid before water or sewer service could be received.
