The bill would amend the Water Code to exempt the notification to purchasers of real property located within the corporate limits of a municipality that is served by a municipally owned utility that the property may be located in a certificated water or sewer service area, and therefore subject to certain costs or charges that must be paid before water or sewer service could be received.
