O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board IN RE:HB4114 by Martinez Fischer (Relating to memorial monuments on the Capitol grounds, including the Tejano monument.), As Passed 2nd House No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would require the State Preservation Board to establish a Tejano memorial monument on the historic south grounds of the Capitol. The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2009. It is assumed that any additional duties and responsibilities required by the bill could be absorbed using existing resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
