O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB4282 by King, Susan (Relating to exemptions from the requirement to hold an investigations company license.), As Introduced    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Occupations Code to exempt experts or consultants who examine documents or interpret information for use as evidence by a court, board, officer, or investigating committee from the definition of "investigations committee."  If not receiving the vote necessary for immediate effect, the bill would take effect September 1, 2009.  This analysis assumes that the bill would pose no fiscal impact to the state. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
