O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB4292 by Branch (Relating to access to criminal history record information by the office of the attorney general.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Government Code regarding access to criminal history record information and provides that the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) is authorized to obtain criminal history information from various law enforcement agencies, any contractor or subcontractor, or employee of a contractor or subcontractor. The OAG anticipates any additional work resulting from the enactment of the bill could be reasonably absorbed with current resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
