O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB4338 by Smithee (Relating to title insurance agents and title insurance companies.), As Engrossed    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to  title insurance agents and the confidentiality of title insurance files. The bill would require the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) to adopt rules to implement the provisions of the bill. TDI indicates that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within existing resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
