The bill would amend various provisions of the Transportation Code relating to the issuance of license plates for certain federal, state, and local officials by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). The bill would specify the number of plates that may be issued to certain officials. Based on the analysis of TxDOT, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
