The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure relating to crime victim information in a criminal judgment. The bill would no longer require that a crime victim's name and address generally be included on the judgment in cases where the defendant is ordered to pay restitution. To the extent the bill would modify court procedures, no affect on judicial workloads or fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would take effect September 1, 2009. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
